Written for Backer as it will run at launch. Today the site is a prototype: no transaction is broadcast, and the tokens launched here, their prices and the traders shown are sample data. The chain figures from DeFiLlama and the real markets from GeckoTerminal are live third-party data, shown for context. The operator's legal name, mailing address, contact email, governing law and copyright agent are not published yet, and the pages that need them say so.

Cookie Policy

What Backer stores on your device, why, and how to change your analytics choice.

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, used on your device by Backer or by its providers.

These items are needed for Backer to work, so they are used without asking for consent.

Entry notice: a record in local storage of which version of the entry notice you agreed to and when, so you are not asked again until the wording changes.

Cookie choice: a record in local storage of your analytics choice, the version of the banner you answered, and when.

Sign-in: if you sign in, Privy stores session information on your device, in cookies or local storage, to keep you signed in and to let your embedded wallet work. Privy's privacy policy covers this storage.

If you select Allow analytics, Backer loads Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies. Vercel says it tells visits apart with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and it records the page, referrer, country, browser, operating system and device type.

If you select Necessary only, or make no choice, the analytics script is not loaded.

Backer does not use advertising cookies or trackers that follow you across other websites.

To change your choice, select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or Change under Cookies and analytics on the Settings page, and the cookie banner will ask again. Clearing this site's data in your browser also resets the choice, signs you out and brings back the entry notice.

If you withdraw permission, analytics stop loading from then on.

Vercel, which hosts Backer, logs requests to the site, including IP addresses. This does not store anything on your device.

Backer
Launch and trade tokens on bonding curves, with a token check on each one.

Prototype. No transaction is broadcast. Every token, trade and trader on this site is sample data, except the chain volume figures from DeFiLlama.

Not financial advice. Nothing on Backer is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any token. Tokens are created by third parties and are not vetted or endorsed by Backer. Token prices are extremely volatile, and you can lose everything you put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.

Who can use it. For people 18 and over. Not available in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or the Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live.

Self-custody. Backer never holds your funds or keys. Transactions on a blockchain are final and cannot be reversed.
