Fees

Every fee Backer charges, when it applies and who pays it. Backer takes a set 0.25% of every trade, the only part of any trading fee that goes to its treasury, and LP injection is a set 0.10% on every token. The creator sets how up to 0.90% more is split, and every reward is paid in the chain's native token.
Fee schedule
Creating a tokenFreeBacker charges nothing. The creator pays network gas; on Solana that includes account rent and the 0.01 SOL fee Metaplex charges for token metadata, about 0.031 SOL in all.
Buying on the bonding curve0.25% Backer + the creator's splitThe token's all-in fee, up to 1.25%. The same fee applies to the creator buy.
Selling on the bonding curve0.25% Backer + the creator's splitThe same fee as backing, on what the sale returns. Only the tokens you got on the curve, from the wallet you used: locked tokens once their lock ends, never an LP-mode deposit or the creator buy. Selling closes once the curve fills. A sale counts toward no checkpoint volume and no trader rewards.
Graduation0.015 SOL, or its value in the native tokenTaken once, from the liquidity being seeded into the pool, to cover creating it. Not charged to the creator.
DEX listings$600 from the raiseTaken once at graduation, from the liquidity being seeded into the pool, and held for the token's DEXTools and DEX Screener token-info listings. Only Backer's listings wallet can spend it, on those listings, within 30 days; whatever is not spent goes back into the pool. Not charged to the creator, not taken from LP-mode money, and nothing is taken if the curve never graduates.
Trading after graduation0.25% Backer + the creator's splitSame fee as on the curve, with the cap stepping down as market cap grows (below).
LP injection0.10%, set for every tokenPart of every token's all-in fee, on the curve and in the pool: 0.10% of every trade is added back to the token's pool as liquidity nobody can withdraw. It is fixed in the contracts, so the creator does not set it and cannot reduce it, and it is counted inside the all-in cap.
Trading a token launched elsewhereUp to 0.25% BackerFor a token not launched on Backer, backed or sold through Jupiter on Solana or LI.FI on the EVM networks: 0.25% once Backer turns its fee on for that aggregator, and none before. The quote shows which. The aggregator may charge its own fee, shown apart from ours, and the network fee is yours.
Locking tokensFreeEnding a lock early gives up its unpaid rewards and up to 10% of the tokens, paid to holders who stay locked.
Copy tradingUp to 10% of your profitEach copied trade pays its token's normal fee. When copying makes you money, the trader you copy takes the share they set, from 0 to 10% of the profit, only on gains past your best so far and nothing while you are down. Backer keeps 10% of that share.
Messaging a trader$1 to $25 a message, set by the traderPaid in USDC by the follower who writes, $3 unless the trader sets another price, and held in escrow. If the trader replies within 72 hours, Backer keeps 10% and the trader the rest. If not, the follower takes all of it back and Backer keeps nothing. The trader's replies are free, and reading and writing posts is free.
ReversionNo feeA reversion returns pool shares without a charge, a community takeover charges nothing, and a reduced creator share adds no fee: it only moves part of the creator reward to the token's rewards.

The step-down applies where Backer is the pool's hook: Uniswap v4 on Ethereum and Robinhood Chain, and PancakeSwap Infinity on BSC. On Base (Aerodrome) and Solana (Raydium) the DEX has no hooks, so the fee is the pool's flat 1% for the token's whole life. Backer still takes 0.25% of trade value; on Solana, Raydium keeps 16% of the pool fee. Market cap is price times the fixed 1,000,000,000 supply. When a token crosses into a lower cap, the creator's split shrinks to fit: LP injection keeps its floor while it fits, and the other parts shrink in proportion. Backer's 0.25% does not change.
Where the creator's split goes
Creator reward
Paid to the creator on every trade. A missed volume checkpoint halves the creator's share of it, and the part the creator no longer gets goes to the token's rewards, paid by its smart contracts, never to the platform. Volume reaching a later checkpoint's target restores the full share.
Rewards
At least 0.10% on every token. The creator divides it between holders and traders at launch, 50/50 unless they choose otherwise, anything from all to holders to all to traders, and it cannot be changed after. The floor is on the rewards as a whole; each side gets its share of it.
Holder rewards
Paid to holders by balance. Locked tokens count 1.25x to 3x. On Solana, paid to holders who stake.
Trader rewards
Paid to traders by the volume they trade, week by week, claimable once the week is over. Locking boosts a trader's volume 1.25x to 3x. No trade earns more than 50% of the fee it paid, and what that cap holds back goes to holder rewards, so trading with yourself always costs more than it earns. Sales back to the curve earn none. Only on Ethereum, Robinhood Chain and BSC: Base and Solana pools cannot credit a trade to the wallet that made it, so tokens there pay holders only.
LP rewards
Paid to liquidity providers. At least 0.10% on every token.
Where rewards come from
Rewards are paid by the token's smart contracts, out of that token's own trading fees.
The contracts distribute them to holders or traders by fixed rules. Nobody chooses who gets paid.
Backer and its operator, Community Platform, never hold, pay or control them, and they are not a payment by the company.
Of every trading fee, only the 0.25% platform fee goes to the platform's treasury.

Against pump.fun
Creating a token: no platform fee on either; on Solana, Metaplex's 0.01 SOL metadata fee applies on both.
Bonding curve: pump.fun charges 1.25%, 0.95% of it to pump.fun and 0.30% to the creator.
Graduation: 0.015 SOL on both. Backer also sets aside $600 of the raise for the token's DEXTools and DEX Screener listings; any part not spent goes back into the pool.
After graduation: pump.fun steps down to 0.30% as market cap grows.
